Dark Angæl

Part 1 -- To the Reflection Power and Back

Carina starts out in the Front Graveyard at Marker 1. Follow the level to the right, entering tombs to collect ammo, if you so desire. At Marker 2, you will find a chained woman. Talk to her and she will tell you where to find the Great Chalice and the Priest.

When you reach Marker 3, you will not be able to go any further towards the cathedral unless you enter the tomb. Once you are inside, you will need to open the sliding floor at Marker 1 by destroying the wall and pulling the lever at Marker 2.

To open the sliding floor on the other side of the underground tunnel (Marker 4), you will need to pull the lever at Marker 3. Exit the tomb at Point A and return to the Front Graveyard.

Proceed right and enter the cathedral Nave at Point A. you will find yourself at Marker 1 in the Nave .

Head for Point 2, passing up the stuck pulleys. Once there, enter the archway to the Wine Cellar.

The archway leads to Point A in the Wine Cellar, approximately in the middle. Head right and pull the lever by Marker 1. The wall at Marker 2 will now open and you will be able to talk to the Priest, who lies on the other side. He will ask you for water. Return to the Nave the way you came.

Continue on to the right until you reach Point A. This is the cross point of the Nave . Cross through to the other section. The cross point in the other section is also at Point A.

Head left until you reach the altar. At Marker 1 there is a secret chamber which contains the Great Chalice. On the altar, at Marker 2, jump up and pull the cross, which will detonate explosives on the far wall.

Now head all the ay to the right, to the pulleys at Marker 3. Use the pulleys to jump up to the next floor (they won't move when you stand on them yet, but you can still make the jumps). Go as far as possible to the left on this floor and you will reach Marker 4, where there are two levers. Pull the left lever and the moving platform at Marker 5 will start to move up and down. Get on it, and ride it up to the next floor.

Head all the way to the right, to Marker 6, being careful not to fall through any of the gaps in the floor. When you reach the marker, you will be at the hole in the wall created by the explosion you set off earlier. Jump through the hole and you will find yourself in the Side Graveyard.

you will find yourself at Marker 1 in the graveyard. Go to Marker 2, a fairly long distance to the right. Destroy the center boulder and the ground underneath it to reveal a tunnel with a secret entrance (Point A) to the nearby tomb which you must enter.

You will arrive in the tomb at Point A. Head up to the main part of the tomb and pull the lever at Marker 1. Head back outside via Point A to the Graveyard.

Climb back up to ground level and continue onwards to the right until you reach the farthest tomb you can get to at Point B. Enter the tomb.

Inside, you will be at Point B.Destroy the middle sarcophagus, and fall down into the chamber below it. Destroy the floor of this chamber at Marker 2, and fall down into the tunnel. Follow the tunnel. The lever you pulled in the other tomb should have opened the sliding floor at Marker 3. Climb up and destroy the sarcophagus. You will find the Reflection power inside.

Return via Point B to the Graveyard. Proceed back to the left to Point C and enter the tomb there.

Inside the tomb, pull the lever at Marker 4 and a sliding floor will open. Destroy the sarcophagus blocking the hole and fall down. The arch at Marker 5 will take you to the East-West Tunnel.

You will find yourself at Marker 1. Pull the lever at Marker 2 and the wall at Marker 3 will open. Proceed through the wall and across most of the level to Marker 4, where you will find invisible blocks that let you get up through an illusionary hole in the ceiling to a secret chamber (Marker 5).

On the far end of this chamber, you will be able to fall down again. While falling, move to the left to get on top of the structure there. Pull the lever at Marker 6 and part of the floor by Marker 7 will be destroyed. You will now be able to fall through the illusionary floor at Marker 7.

Pull the lever at Marker 8 to destroy another floor at Marker 9. Now head back up to the main tunnel to Marker 10, where you will a find another lever. Pull the lever to destroy the floor at Marker 11, and fall through the hole there. Continue to the left to Marker 9 and again fall down.

Follow the tunnel all the way to the left and destroy the floor at Marker 12. Exit at Point A to the Old Crypt.

You will arrive at Marker 1 in the Crypt. Pull the lever next to the door to open the wall and continue to Marker 2. Destroy the sarcophagus there and the floor underneath and fall down into the chamber below. Destroy the floor of the chamber to enter the tunnel underneath the Crypt.

Follow the tunnel, climb up the other side, and head for Point A, where you will enter the Catacombs.

In the Catacombs you will start at Point A. Destroy a couple floors to reach Marker 1, where you can fill the Great Chalice with water. Fall through the illusionary hole on the right of the marker. Return to Point A and the Old Crypt.

Head to Marker 3 and pull the lever to open the sliding floor at Marker 4. Go back through the tunnel to reach Marker 4, where you can climb all the way up to Point B and back to the Nave.

Part 2 -- Activating the Pulleys and Reaching the Teleportation Coin

Starting at Point B in the Nave , go a short distance to the right to Point A, where you will cross over to the other Nave section.

>From Point A where you arrive, head left to Point 2, where you will return
to the Wine Cellar.

Head back to the Priest as before, and give him the water. He will tell you to seek out the Head Priest and where the Plasma Gun power-ups are hidden.

Head to the left side of the cellar and reflect the Energy Beam blocking you. Pull the lever to open the sliding floor at Point 15 in the Nave which you will need later. Return to the Nave.

>From Marker 2 in the Nave , head all the way to the right, to Marker 3,
where you will face an Agnirok. After defeating it, destroy the front of the organ and go through the hole. Use the Reflection power to go through the energy beam and talk to the Head Priest. She will tell you where to find some Armor. After you have finished talking, kill her, and the wheel will start spinning. Return to Point A and cross back to the other part of the Nave .

>From Point A, go to the left a small distance to Point B. Enter the Old
Crypt.

You will start at Point B. Go down the shaft part way, and make your way to Marker 5. There is an illusionary wall which you can walk through and enter a secret tunnel. When you reach the edge drop (Marker 6), jump and hug the right wall, so that you land on the ledge where Marker 7 is. Pick up the Armor and continue the rest of the way down the drop.

Return to the Nave by again pulling the lever at Marker 3, entering the bottom of the shaft at Marker 4, and climbing all the way back up to the entrance at Point B.

>From Point B in the Nave, head right until you reach the pulleys at Marker
3. Allowing the wheel to spin earlier has activated the pulleys, so getting up will be slightly more difficult now. Use this opportunity to get used to the motion of the pulleys.

Again pull the lever at Marker 4 and ride the platform at Marker 5 up to the next floor to Point C, where you must cross over to the other part of the Nave .

You will be at Point C. Use either the pulleys to your left or the destroyable wall to your right to get up on the bridge and to Point D, where you should cross back to the other part of the Nave.

You will find yourself at Point D. Pull the lever immediately next to you, and the symbol near it will change color. Fall through the gap onto the floor below and proceed to the left to Marker 7 without falling any further floors down.

There you will find a second lever with the same symbol next to it. Again pull the lever. Use the nearby pulleys and shoot the web to work your way up to Marker 8. the two levers with the symbols will have extended a bridge across this area and you will easily be able to cross and reach Marker 9.

Destroy the wall at Marker 9 and jump through the illusionary wall of the Nave into the secret chamber beyond. When you reach the bottom of the long drop, you will find the Teleportation Coin. Use the coin to reach Marker 1, and climb out of the hole, heading all the way to the right side of the Nave and using the teleporter there to return to the Front Graveyard.

The teleporter will take you to Point B. Head left to Point C and enter the tomb. If you destroy the floor inside the tomb you will be able to get a Plasma Gun powerup.

After exiting the tomb, head back to Point B, using the coin to get on top of the bush that is too tall to jump over, and teleport back to the Nave.

Part 3 -- More Superpowers

>From the teleporter in the Nave head left to Point A and crossover to the
other section. Just left of the crosspoint is Point E, where you should enter the Main Crypt.

You will find yourself at the top of the shaft that leads to the crypt, at Point A. From here, head to Marker 1 at the bottom of the shaft and reflect through the energy beam. Destroy the sarcophagus between the two chains (Marker 2) and the floor underneath it, then fall through the gap into the Catacombs.

You will arrive at Point A. Head to the right and follow the tunnel until you reach Marker 1. There is an illusionary tunnel in the wall on the right of the ledge. You must jump into the tunnel. You can fire your gun to see where the tunnel is. Once in the tunnel, proceed to Marker 2, but do not go any further towards the Energy Wave power. There is an illusionary hole in the floor between Marker 2 and where the power sits. Again shoo to determine the precise location of the hole and jump over it to obtain the power. Once you have the power, fall down the hole.

Pull the lever at Marker 3 to open the wall and get out of the chamber you were in. Proceed to Marker 4, where you can blow a hole in the floor and fall through an illusionary tunnel. Make your way to Marker 5, where there is a junction of sorts and head right, following the tunnel towards Point B, where you should go through the arch and crossover into the other part of the Catacombs.

>From Point B, you will find two prisoners just to the right at Marker 2.
One of them will tell you about the nearby medallion. Continue onward to Marker 3. There is a small illusionary gap in the floor that you can throw the coin through to get to the chamber with the medallion. Once through, follow the tunnels to Point C, and cross back to the other section of Catacombs.

>From Point C, make your way back to Point B and cross back over. Pass the
prisoners again and go past Marker 3 this time, continuing up to Point A, where you will return to the Old Crypt.

You will once again be at Point A. Pull the lever at Marker 3 again to open the sliding floor. Now that you have the coin, you can just jump and throw it over the wall by Marker 3 to get by it instead of using the tunnel underneath the Crypt. Climb back up to Point B and reenter the Nave.

>From Point B where you will find yourself again, go to Point A and cross to
the other part of the Nave . From there, head left to the pulleys and use the m to reach Marker 4. Just to the right, there is another set of pulleys. Using careful timing to avoid hitting your head on the moving platform, use the pulleys to reach Marker 5.

Near the marker is a lever hanging from a strange structure. Pull this lever to open a wall you will need open later. Now it should be a simple matter to use the moving platform to reach Marker 6. Jump in the air and use the Energy Wave to destroy the webbing holding the platform in place. A second platform will come down and you can ride it up towards Marker 7. At this marker you can destroy the wall and teleport through the gap. Once there, activate the teleporter so you can return here easily.

Now continue to the left up to Marker 8, where you can go through the illusionary wall and land on a section of invisible floor. Carefully advance to the left until you have found the end of the invisible floor. Do not fall off the ledge. The floor starts up again near the far wall. Throw the coin to land on the opposite ledge near Marker 9 and activate the sensor there by passing in front of it.

Now head right and fall through the gap you teleporter over before. It should be relatively simple to reach Marker 10. Destroy the floor there and bear left as you fall. You should be able to land on the ledge and retrieve the second Plasma Gun powerup. Now fall back to ground level and head back to Point A, crossing over to the other section of the Nave once again.

Make your way back up to Point C again, and cross back over to the other part of the Nave.

>From Point C, head right, to the pulleys at Marker 11. Use the pulleys to
get to the floor above and jump through the gap at Marker 12 which you will have opened with hanging lever that you pulled earlier.

Head to Marker 13 (you will need to use the Energy Wave along the way). The wall to the right can be opened by the nearby lever. Activate the sensor by passing in front of it. Now crossover at Point F to the other part of the Nave.

Just to the right of Point F, where you crossed over, there is a teleporter. Activate it and teleport until you reach the teleporter with the energy beam to the right of it in the other part of the Nave.

Head back through the wall at Marker 8 and fall down to Marker 13. The invisible will slide open, now that both sensors have been triggered. From here you can fall through the gap in the floor and head right to retrieve the Psychic Attack superpower. Now head to Point E again, and follow the same route you did at the beginning of this section to return to Point A in the Catacombs.

Part 4 -- Seek and Destroy the Power Generators

>From Point A in the Catacombs, go left to Point D, and cross to the other
part of the Catacombs.

>From Point D, follow the tunnel around to Point E, using the Energy Wave to
activate the Alien Door. Cross back to the other part of the Catacombs.

Upon returning to the other section at Point E, head left to Marker 6. You are now at the central shaft of the Catacombs. You want to jump across the shaft, landing on the next floor down on the opposite side, at Marker 7. Follow the tunnel along until you reach the ledge at Marker 8. Instead of falling off the ledge, jump across the gap into an illusionary tunnel in the wall. Continue to the left until you reach Marker 9. Across the ledge, in the far wall is the entrance to one of the Power Generators at Marker F. Jump off the ledge and hug the far wall to enter the Power Generator.

Destroy the generator and you will return to the Catacombs at Marker F. Follow the tunnel all the way along until you reach Marker B again. Cross to the other section again.

Follow the tunnel up and around, heading for Point 1. From here, head left to Point 4, activating the teleporter that lies along the way. At Point 4 there is a gap in the floor which you must be careful not to fall through. Continue to Point 5. The wall opposite the ledge has a section that rotates. Jump off the ledge and hug the wall, and you will land in the middle of the wall where the section will have rotated. Be careful not to go too far to the left and fall off the wall. Now get across to the ledge immediately opposite you, go through the energy beam and jump off the ledge into Marker G, where you will enter another Power Generator.

After destroying the generator, follow the tunnel around to Marker C and crossover to the other section. Head down to Point 5 and continue left towards Point 10. There is an illusionary tunnel at that point which you will need to pass through. Once inside, continue on to Point 11 and pull the lever. Head back the way you came and up to Point 12 where the wall will have opened. Head left until you reach the ledge near Marker G, and jump towards the marker and into another Power Generator.

Once you destroy the generator, head back to Marker H, and crossover to the other section.

Head around to the Alien Door near Point 6, and jump over the illusionary gap at that point, continuing onwards to Marker F. When you reach the marker you will hear the buzzing of an Energy Beam hidden in the floor. Reflect the beam and fall through the gap into the last Power Generator.

After destroying this generator, fall through the gap at Point 6 and cross back to the other section at Marker H.

>From Marker H, crossover once again at Marker B to the other section.

Head up to the teleporter near Point 1 and teleport back to the part of the Nave with the Energy Beam to the right.

Part 5 -- The Four Towers

>From the teleporter near Point 7 in the Nave, go through the Energy Beam
and up to Marker G, where you can enter the North Tower.

You will find yourself in the tower at Point 1. Move the lever at Point 2 to the down position and the chain at Point 3 will lower and you will be able to climb it. Head for the lever at Point 4.

Moving the lever to the down position will make the chain at Point 5 lower. Climb up and go to the right, using Reflection to get past the Energy Beam at Point 6. Climb to the lever at Point 7 and set it for the down position to lower the chain at Point 8. Move the lever at Point 9 to the up position to raise a chain so you can use it as a platform, then head for the rooftop via Marker A. You will find yourself at the Signal Generator.

After destroying the generator, use the teleporter near Point 6 to teleport to the teleporter near Point 3 in the Nave (bottom right corner of one of the sections).

Climb up to Marker C and cross to the other section.

Head to the right and to Point 15, where the lever you pulled in the Wine Cellar will have opened a sliding floor. Fall through, and navigate the platforms to your right. You will need to teleport through a gap at Point 16 after you slide the floor over so the coin has somewhere to land. Once you have activated the last platform you can head for Marker H and enter the South Tower.

Starting at Point 1, use the coin to get past the pulleys on the left and, using either Reflection of the Energy Wave, reach Point 2. Move the lever there to the down position to lower the chain at Point 3 so you can climb up.

Head for Point 4, where you can destroy the wall and jump on a series of invisible blocks to reach the moving platform up above. Teleport through the gap at Point 5.

Use the lever at Point 6 to activate the platform at Point 5 and ride it up, activating the teleporter switch in the wall on the left. Climb up the chain and free the platform at Point 7.

Standing on the platform, you will be able to pull the lever at Point 8 and move it to the down position, lowering the chain at Point 7. Climb up the chain you lowered and work your way around and up to Marker A. Pull the lever near the marker to control the platform that will take you up to the Signal Generator.

After destroying the generator, head for Marker 9 and use the teleporter to teleport near Marker F in the Nave.

Fall off the ledge to the left. At Point 10 there is an illusionary hole in the floor. Be careful to jump over it. Use the coin to teleport through the wall to the left of the point.

Use the Energy Wave to reach Marker E and use the hatch to get up to the East Tower.

Starting at Point 1, move the lever at Point 2 into the up position to raise the chain at Point 3. Reach the platforms to the right of Point 3 using the invisible blocks and the coin. Jump onto the chain you raised and destroy the floor at Point 4 to reach the next floor up.

Head over the chain near Point 7. Jump from the ball at the bottom of the chain to pull the lever at Point 7 and activate the platform at Point 8.

Head for Point 5 and us the coin to get through the gap. Use it in combination with the invisible blocks to reach Point 6 and then use the platform you activated to get across the gap.

Head on up to the Energy Beam at Point 9 and reflect through the beam. Head up to Marker A, using a broken ball to get up to the hole in the ceiling and enter the Signal Generator.

After destroying the generator, head to the right and jump through the arch in the side of the tower. When you reach bottom, leave the tower the way you came in, through the hatch near Point 1. You will return to the Nave at Marker E.

Head for Marker C and crossover to the other section. From there, get up to Marker D and cross back.

Avoiding the gaps in the floor, head for Point 11. You will need to use the coin to reach that point. Use the coin again to teleport through the wall above the door (which no longer works).

Pull the lever at Point 12 and head back through the gap at Point 11. The platform at Point 13 will have activated and you can ride it up to the top part of the level.

Pull the lever at Point 14 to activate the platform at Point 15. You will need to fall down by Point 12 and ride the platform by Point 13 again. Use the platform you just activated to get to Marker H and enter the West Tower.

Starting at Point 1, destroy the chain explosive at Point 2 and use the broken ball to reach the lever at Point 3.

Pull the lever to activate the platform nearby and use the platform to reach the lever at Point 4. The lever will destroy the ceiling at Point 5 allowing you to reach Point 6. The levers at Point 6 and Point 7 can be used to create a staircase-like structure out of the three hanging balls at Point 8. Use them to jump up and head for Point 9.

The lever at Point 9 will activate the platform at Point 10. With some clever teleporting or an alternate method, you should be able to use the platform to reach Marker A and enter the final Signal Generator.

After you destroy the generator all that will be left is Azrael's World...
